Welcome to the Education Services Section of the ARHA website.

The Education Services Team in the ARHA is dedicated to working with programs, best practices and staff to provide quality care through learning.

If you are a staff member, you probably know a member or two of our team…we seem to be everywhere, promoting or delivering educational opportunities throughout the region always. It’s our purpose – to promote, develop, facilitate and evaluate educational experiences for all training levels.

While it is the responsibility of each person to educate themselves, the Education Services Team works to fulfill their responsibility related to education by satisfying the following objectives:

o Developing and facilitating access to educational resources
o Indentifying and responding to the learning needs of ARHA staff and provincial mandates.
o Providing access to educational opportunities using a variety of delivery methods
o Coordinating and maintaining a regional Infection Control Program
o Participating in an Occupational Health Program
o Allocating education funds for ARHA employees
o Establishing and maintaining partnerships and linkages

As a part of our mission to meet these objectives we include providing staff with online access to Education information (see also: eLearning). Under the Education Services Heading (lower right), you will find all of the Education Sections Headings. Inside each link is relevant information or documents pertaining to the Education process involved.

For example, if you click on ‘Registration’, you will have access to instructional information and any documents required to successfully register for a course or in-service the ARHA Education Team is offering or coordinating.
