Acute Care is necessary treatment for only a short period of time in which a patient is treated for a brief but severe episode of illness or injury.
Care/treatment is administered with the goal of discharging the patient as soon as the patient is deemed healthy and stable, with appropriate discharge instructions.
In the region constant care to ill or injured individuals for observation, diagnosis, treatment or care is provided. All of the acute care facilities provide accommodations and medical services.
