Physician Recruitment for International Medical Graduates

There are two licensure programs for International Medical Graduates in the province of Manitoba. They are:

1. Medical Licensures Program for International Medical Graduates
2. International Medical Graduates Assessment for Conditional Licensure

The Medical Licensure Program for International Medical Graduates (MLPIMG) is a one year training program that will assist foreign trained physicians to obtain medical licensure to practice as primary care physicians in Manitoba.

The International Medical Graduate Assessment for Conditional Licensure (IMGACL) is a four month assessment process that will assess practice-ready IMG Physiaicn’s previous training in order to obtain medical licensure to practice as primary care physicians in Manitoba.
